I have been passionately photographing life as a profession since my early 20s. I became deeply involved in the business side of photography after my oldest daughter was born, and I have experienced a very fulfilling career in the time between her birth and now.
In that span I have married my soul-mate, brought 4 more amazing daughters into this world and home-schooled them, all while running my photography studio. Through the years I have experienced personal growth as a self-taught photographer and recently have felt a calling to pass my experience and growth onto other newly budding photographers. Recently I also started the exciting adventure of running Photographers BLING and BLING Actions.
Photographers BLING was born out of my desire to align photographers with the resources they need to build strong photography businesses from the foundation up. I understand that a lot of new photographers are moms who want to learn the trade in order to be home with their children. I not only am okay with that, I respect that and I want to help you be the best 'momtog' you can be! A photography business foundation needs to start with a solid grasp on camera settings, lighting, and in our modern digital age, editing software. I am here to help you!
I am a very visual learner and find that for myself I need to 'do' it, to 'get' it. All of my online classes and in-person mentorships are taught with that philosophy in mind. My goal when teaching is to see you have a light bulb moment, when you know that you "got it". I want to leave you feeling empowered on your journey. I want you, the artist, to be complete and to feel confident telling your story.
